Was best choice at the time I was built the pc
from completed build Micro Center First Build
Runs quietly and excellently. The engineering design is clearly top-grade. The mounting bracket is a little unusual but not difficult at all to setup, even for a first time pc builder. It comes with all the tools you need, including a long screwdriver. A little big in the case.
from completed build Smallest ATX - Largest CPU Cooler
Wow. Wow. Wow. Beautiful and cools like a dream. There's a reason why its the direct competition to AIOs and Noctua, nice and silent too
from completed build Secondary/backup gaming pc
Does a great job at cooling CPU's, looks good, and is very easy to install.
from completed build 2024 AM5 Hobby Workstation
Big, beefy, and quite the thermal exhausting beast, especially for how quiet it runs. Mine arrived with some lightly bent fins and what looked like surface wear on the leading edges where the fan and clips had vibrated and shifted against the surface. Very tight memory clearance, stick to memory that has no extra frills and just a low profile heat spreader.
from completed build 2023 Reasonable 1440p Build
It's still a great cooler all in all, but just barely handles modern high-end Intel CPUs. It was pretty good for my 12600K and I hoped to be able to keep it for the 13700K upgrade, but it struggled a little. It was fine on most gaming scenarios but let the 13700K throttle on intensive CPU loads.
I don't think it's a great option for modern builds anymore. Unless you can find it really cheap, there are other options with comparable performance for much better prices (aka Thermal Right's Peerless Assassin).
If you still want to go high-end, I'd recommend stepping up to Arctic's Liquid Freezer III 360 AIO, which will give you the best thermal performance in the market as of Apr/2024 for not too much more money.
from completed build AMD Linux Powerhouse - 1440p Gaming and ML Rig
I read so many reviews saying this cooler is hell to setup, but I must say it was pretty easy, and I love that it came with a magnet-tip screw-driver. It tames my CPU pretty well, max 90 degrees Celsius so far that I've seen under heavy gaming load, it's also pretty quiet.
from completed build Monstrosity Build
Overkill for my i5 13600k but that just means my CPU will last forever. Keeps temps down while being super quiet. be quite's fans are a marvel of engineering.
from completed build PC for gaming/rendering
Does the job well even on a 7950X3D despite being an air cooler, but I'm not planning on OC'ing. Mounting/installation was simple, no idea why so many people hate on this cooler for that reason.
