Description

First build, totallly deadly

Part Reviews

CPU

It’s a 7800x3D, it’s the goat

CPU Cooler

Big beefy AIO keeps my 7800x3d cool, took 1 star away because it was challenging to get the software working properly, but if you just go to gigabyte website look up the hardware you have and download the latest firmware/recommended software it works 10/10.

Motherboard

It’s a tomahawk, flashed the bios and ran my 6400mHz ram right away. Boot time could be faster.

Memory

Plug and play, works with my tomahawk and 7800x3d.

Storage

It’s fast, boot time is good, games load in seconds. Great starter/game drive.

Video Card

Big beefy, best looking Rgb on the 40 series hands down. Not worth the money for the 4080 super even with the dropped price, if you don’t FPS count you can’t even tell. This will be the sleeper card of the 40 series.

Case

Great airflow, keeps everything cool. Easy cable management, the side mounted front panel buttons are a plus. Fish tanks are all the rage but for 120 bucks you can’t go wrong here.

Power Supply

Powers everything I need, silent. Cables are a bit stiff but nothing some extensions can’t make better. Easy enough to route.

Don’t think you really needed an AIO for a 7800X3D, but besides that really nice build!

Hey I'm planning on building with the same aio and CPU as you I just want to ask two three things, what games do you play?,

what temps do you get in those game?,

And can what can you display on the screen of the aio?.

Thank you

Mostly play apex, some single player games, starfield, modded Skyrim, Alan wake 2, switch emulation. I wouldn’t worry about thermals, I’d have to check. But it’s a huge AIO, 280mm is like 88% of a 360 or close to that. I can try and run some bechmarks and get back to you if you’re still interested. I play in 4K so don’t really work the cpu too hard. No screen display changing have to get the water force X for that. It seems really well built, the pump is huge, software can be a pain but if you just go to the website and find your model, they have everything you need.
